Sri Anbil Ramaswamy hails from Thiru Anbil, one of the 108 Divyadesams consecrated by Azhwars. Sri Anbil Ramaswamy studied Hindu sacred scriptures under Srimad Andavan of Poundarikapuram Ashramam (who also did his Bharanyasam), 45th Jeer of Ahobila Mutt (in his Poorvaasramam - for over 15 years), Sri Bhaashyam from Puirsai Sri Krishnamachariar aka Purisai Swami, Anushtana Granthas from SriSrivatsankachariar Swami besides many of other Acharyas and Scholars. He has visited all the 106 Divya Desams and a number of other Kshetrams.He retired as a Senior Audit Officer of the Government of India in 1983. During service, he published several books for guidance of departmental examinees, most of which serve as reference manuals even today.Then, he moved on to USA and from there he is propagating Bhagavath Ramanuja Siddhantam.
